Before a clinic can become Verified by Alt Treatment, we review who is treating patients, how treatments are provided and whether the clinic meets the standards relevant to where it operates.

What happens before a clinic becomes Verified
We speak to every clinic

We speak to every clinic
We don't vet clinics from their website alone.
Before a clinic is approved, we speak directly with the team, nothing here is automated. We've manually built out processes for each country we operate in. We know it's not perfect yet and we're still making improvements!

The clinic & medical team
We check who is treating patients & their medical credentials against their country's medical governing body. This is different for every country. We also do a background check on the clinic itself where possible.

Patient Education
We look at clinics' content and how they describe treatments and expectations to patients.

The cells & laboratory
Where relevant, we review where the cells come from, how they are processed and the laboratory or facility involved.

Local regulations
Stem cell rules differ around the world. We review clinics against the requirements that apply where they operate. There are certain countries where Stem Cells or other alternative treatments are not legal and all our content will tell you clearly.
Clinics can't buy verification
Paying to be part of the marketplace does not change our vetting process.
We do have commercial agreements with some clinics, but no clinic can pay to bypass our review or arrange special terms with our team.
We keep reviewing clinics
Verification isn't permanent.
We continually vet each clinic with every patient that gets treatment. If a clinic no longer meets our standards, Verified status can be removed.
We're always trying to improve
Verified doesn't mean guaranteed.
We know our process isn't perfect and we're always trying to improve our workflows.
Verified by Alt Treatment means a clinic has gone through the process described on this page and met our standards at the time of review. It doesn't mean Alt Treatment guarantees the treatment, safety or outcome.
